Welcome to Generation Aware, the first youth site in Squamish, BC. Generation Aware is for youth, by youth, about youth. It is a site dedicated to serving the youth of Squamish, and the youth of BC. We want you to be aware, to know what is happening for youth, to know what you can do to change the world, and to know what services are out there to help you through life.

This site is for you. What you say goes. If you want to see something here, let us know. If you're doing something and you want to let other youths know about it, here's your chance. Join us in becoming aware, it's your right.

What kind of information will you find in this site? You can find out about youth conferences, sites Picture of a cool blinking eyewe (and other youths) like, what to do if you think you might be pregnant, how to get your first phone number, what the bus schedule is in Squamish and so on. We've tried to make the information as universal as possible (so that even someone in South America could find something of use here) but most of our information is for youth in BC and Squamish in particular.

What would we like from you? Your comments, good or bad, about our site. Writing or pictures you've created that you want to share with other youth through the internet. News about what's happening for youth in your town, like do you have a youth advisory committee, a youth newsletter or some other activity where youth are trying to make a difference? Comments on cool sites you've seen on the 'net.

We want anything for youth, by youth, about youth that can be listed on the internet.
