Health Units

Squamish, Pemberton and Whistler Health Units are all part of the Coast Garibaldi Health Unit and as such offer similar programs at each location. Some of the services they offer, as a whole, are:

• health programs
• long term care
• home care nursing
• dental programs (for young children)
• community health nurses
• parent and tot drop-in
• post-natal discussion groups
• daycare licensing/residential program

The Health Units also offer an extensive collection of resource material (pamphlets, brochures etc.). For more information please call your individual health unit (numbers are listed below).

They offer information on healthy sexuality, STD's and HIV as well as providing testing for HIV and other STD's. Free condoms are also available in their lobby.
