Youth Empowerment
As much as we'd like to, we can't empower you through this website, but
we do hope that some of the information we've provided will help you along
your journey. Youths across the world, and in BC, are working to secure
equal rights and freedoms for youths. To find out more, or to become involved,
check out these websites or search in your town for a youth organisation
making change.
Where do you look? Try reading your local newspaper, upcoming events
and the recreation centre's calendar. If your community has a youth centre,
stop by and check it out. Most communities have something going on, your
local library may have a red book or community listing, as well as an outdated
(but still helpful book) called Linking Youth.
